Vibram® 38D SBR slider

The Vibram® Slider is a standardized test foot used to test friction on the Mark IIIB Tribometer. It is made of Shore 38D hardness styrene butadiene rubber (SBR), features 11 grooves and chamfered edges, and is designed to simulate the properties of a footwear heel. The Vibram® Slider is durable and can withstand repeated use. It is intended for use with ASTM F2508-2024 (publication pending).
